How do I enroll my child in a class?
Your first step is to schedule a phone call with us. We’ll use that time to listen to you, get to know your child, and help you select the right class. After that, we’ll walk you through registration and preparing for their first class.
Do you have sessions and how often does your class schedule change?
From September through May, our class schedule remains the same and is considered one session. The only time we change our schedule is during the summer months.
Can I enroll my child at any time or do I have to wait until the start of a new session?
We have open enrollment all year. Sign up when it works best for you!
Is it okay that my child has no gymnastics background?
Absolutely! At Leaps & Bounds, we’re here to help all students achieve success, no matter their age or skill level. We’ll safely guide them through every skill, and we never pressure students to perform tricks they’re not comfortable with.
Can I stay to watch my child’s class?
Yes. We have plenty of seating in our Parent Zone. You are welcome to watch every week, but you’re also free to drop them off and go if needed.
How do I find the prices for each of your classes?
That’s easy—just schedule a brief phone call with us here. During that call, we’ll do more than just explain our pricing, we’ll answer your questions, talk about our facilities, and work with you to determine the right classes for your child. There’s no commitment when you schedule a call with us.
When I pay for a month of training, how many classes will I receive?
With 1 class each week, we guarantee between 3 to 5 classes each month. This number fluctuates depending on the length of the month, as well as the occurrence of any holidays, snow days, and the like.
When is my monthly tuition payment due?
Your payment is considered on-time between the 1st and the 15th of the month. On the 16th or later, a $10 late fee is due along with the original tuition payment. The credit card you have on file will be charged.
Are there any additional fees with my tuition?
From September through May a registration fee is due per student to hold your spot on our schedule which is then charged annually.
Please note that if a student decides to stop classes mid-session and then reregisters in another session, their registration fee will apply again.
Do you offer any discounts for families with multiple students?
Sure do, bring the whole crew! No matter if they take classes at our Ellwood City or New Castle location, your first child pays regular tuition but each additional child receives $5.00 off per month.
If I have to drop out of a class mid-session, am I eligible for a refund?
No. We do not offer refunds if you decide to drop out of a class mid month.
If I miss my weekly class or private lesson, am I able to make it up?
Yes. If we are notified before the missed class or private lesson, we will gladly give you a make-up lesson.
If I want to take one month off and return the following month, will you hold my spot?
If you are holding your spot on the schedule, you must pay for the month that you miss otherwise your spot will be given to the next family on our waitlist.
Does my child need special clothes or shoes to participate in classes?
We do not require any special clothing. We only ask that your child wear stretchy, comfortable clothes and that they’re barefoot.
How do I book a birthday party with you?
Your first step is to let us know you’re interested by completing our birthday party inquiry form. Once we’re notified, we’ll check our calendar and contact you about availability. We’ll work with you to determine a final date and time, which we’ll reserve for you in anticipation of your initial deposit.
How will my deposit be handled?
All birthday party deposits are non-refundable, count towards your total cost, and will be due 2 weeks before your party date. Paying your deposit solidifies your reservation. If you do not pay your deposit fee by two weeks prior to the party, we reserve the right to give that day/time slot to another party.
When is the rest of my payment due?
Payment for your party—minus the cost of your deposit—is due directly before your party begins.
On what days do you host birthday parties?
We are currently offering parties on Saturdays only. Both party packages can be held in the afternoon or evening, depending on availability and how early you schedule with us.
Are there any additional costs for a party for 2 kids?
If you’d like to throw one party for two kids (siblings or friends), an additional $50 fee will be added to your package total.
Are there any waivers I have to sign?
Yes. All of your guests will need to have a parent/guardian with them when checking in at your party so they may fill out the required waiver.
If I choose the deluxe package, do you provide food for adults as well or only for the kids?
Our prices include food for kids only. If you would like us to supply food for adults as well, let us know. We’ll be happy to provide you with an estimated add-on cost.
